Besides "We love you guys," the 2nd most popular comment Favoritz gets is usually on the sound. David comments: "There is really no magic in a talented duo sounding good these days. Digital technology has helped a lot! When we hear a song we love, we simply re-record the music our way in the studio here, leave out the parts we want to play live and burn them to MP3s for the road.
Yes we still play live as well! You can't take the live element out of a performance or it starts to take on a DJ quality. But you can play very successfully on top of custom pre-recorded music. We've done it for 18 years! Today, we use a couple of MP3 players. When you see any top name act there is a certain amount of pre-recorded content that you hear, regardless of how "live" they claim to be.
You will love the sound. Favoritz easily plays rooms that accommodate 80-500 attendees. Larger audiences require special sound systems that can be arranged for in advance.
