MEET A POWERFUL, ENTERTAINING DUO
David Harper (left with glasses) sings and plays keyboards in the Favoritz Band. He is passionate about music & events. "Instincts and timing are everything in music and entertainment" says David. "You have to know when to push, and you have to know when to relax and go with the flow. Thankfully, we've never really had to work very hard with Favoritz in terms of music and performance. It just comes together naturally, every night, every show. Joe and I have that right mix of voices, the same leanings in song selection, and an absolute fire that happens when we set foot on stage. How lucky I am to have stumbled onto this! Here we are, 16 years later, still doing what we love to do!

When he's not on stage with Favoritz, he can be found producing music for many arists & bands, television commercials, soundtracks and documentaries. David lives in the Gold Country of California where he enjoys four full seasons per year with his beautiful wife Carol.
Joe Nemcik (above left, no glasses) sings and plays the drums in the Favoritz Band. A natural comedian and a seriously talented musician and singer, Joe brings a certain charisma to Favoritz that is just plain infectious. Joe says: "David found me on the side of the road with a sign: "Will Play For Food." In a way, that's how it was. I was selling VCRs and TVs for a living while going to college when he found out I was somewhat musically inclined. So Favoritz was born. We soon left the drudges of retail hell and took our act to the clubs. David was a master musician and I was up and coming. I learned fast, but did it my way. The chemistry between us works. He's the painter and I'm the guy looking over his shoulder saying: "Let's put more red in." I wouldn't change what we're doing or how we're doing it. Just give me a wireless microphone, bright lights and we're going places. How do I look? Enough with the hair! I'm working on it."
Joe's professional credits include San Jose Repertory Theatre, The Last Laugh Comedy Club, The Chant, The Hope Thieves, and local appearances all around the San Francisco Bay Area. When he is not on stage with Favoritz, he can be found working on his world class impressions and tending bar at Mace Meadows Golf Course.
